 Surrounded by forests and green prairies, the quiet and beautiful village of Novales lays down. This village belongs to the town of Alfoz de Lloredo.
LA HOSTERIA with natural environment and “montañés” style, allows us to enjoy relax and tranquillity coming from birds sound, green smell, fresh air and great mountains landscape. NOVALES is place right in the middle of a beautiful valley, with a micro weather unique in the area, sheltered from the sudden changes of temperature.
LA HOSTERIA is facing south, which allows sunrays to warm up the place.
EL POMAR owns a cute garden where lemon trees, so important and typical from this village, stand out for its colour and luminosity. There is also a great diversity of plants and fruit trees.
LA HOSTERIA EL POMAR counts within its facilities with a Villa “montañesa”, (mountains architecture) tower style built in XVII century. Besides its antiquity this house guards lots of history. It used to be a palace some time ago and, before that, a king’s road inn in the way from Oviedo to Santillana del Mar. Knights used to get their strength back here and changed their horses before arriving to the noble town of Santillana del Mar.
THE VILLA shows a well marked “montañés” style and has 18 rooms available with bathroom. The decoration combines our typical materials such as oak and chestnut wood and stone, in the chairs and masonry. .
TO STAND OUT the smell of tradition through the stone staircase, along the corridors made of wood or inside the sunny rooms. .
LA HOSTERÍA EL POMAR counts with an annexe of modern facilities built in a mixed style between modern and traditional taste. It has 36 rooms with bathroom, Bar, Cafeteria, Restaurant, Lobby and two Dining rooms to hold up 240 people.
